Congrats on the win! Seems like you're getting better at dealing with artillery! I'd be careful with how much you bring the unkillable heroes. It can start to get old real quick. Remember how you felt when you were losing every game to all of his guns. Maybe you could switch armies for a week, just to see how the other's army plays?

Will not bring double unkillable against him for a while at this point level. I wish we had time for a bigger game too to open up for some of my special chars. Need to be more creative the next time. Best games are the ones that are undecided all the way until turn 6. And both players have shot to win!

Against your list? Probably at least 2 cannons and 1 organ gun. That's his best shot at killing your characters. If those can't kill you before you reach him, game over.

It's hard to get past that ward save; it relies a lot on luck. That's why I'm a proponent of organ guns against the WoC characters; the multitude of shots should hopefully get a wound or two through each firing.
Honestly they're at their weakest (ironically) in combat, IF they're unsupported where combat resolution can hopefully break them. I would try to just kill everything that isn't a character, accept that my artillery is going to die and then try and make it as hard as possible for my opponent to get any additional points out of me. It would be boring but it's probably a dwarf players best chance if they can't kill it with artillery.
