How did the Hellcannon perform? Nice pictures Not that good 😊 Aimed at the organ gun. Scatters, scatters, misfire rolled 6 - no more shooting - multi wound 2, March a long way to go 😊

Short recap: We rolled Dawn attack and I deployed first and took first turn. My Warriors and hounds ended up on the flank. He wanted to hide is the main unit from my Hellcanon so it resulted in me trying to shoot down his WM but failed on that. Hellcanon were pretty stranded in the corner. Maybe I should skip shooting and just move it forward. But that's hard with MV 3 when I am the only one moving forward. Regarding magic. rolled a little bit below but it was two pretty good magic phases with getting off final transmutation on his main unit. First got dispell scrolled but second was irresistible forced and killed 6 out of 30 units. His shooting was probably on a pair and resulted in my chaffs dying left to right. He also managed one great lucky roll on my general wizard and me rolling a 2 splashed off back to hell where he came from He needed one great turn with organ guns on my BSB, but about 24 shots only resulted in 1 wound total. I did roll 13(9) on a charge with my warriors that resulted in me actually getting my warriors into combat one turn earlier than expected. I did manage to roll decent LD tests in 3 turns of the game that also helped me. Warriors didn't manage to kill any dwarfs on the first charge... and lost 3 units. but I rolled a 5 to hold. BSB lost combat twice because of rank but hold on rerolling needing at least a 6 both times. Fun game but will not bring this lineup again in a while but try to alternate too different units/composition. Think I got/have learned how the unkillable lords work by now and also want to try a different type of games.

Hellcannon is M6(?). You don't use the M value of the crew you use the movement value of the Hellcannon itself. Monsters and Handlers baby! EDIT: also a hellcannon can fire indirectly so hiding from it doesn't really do a lot of good.

@ryryak My book says m3 and the problem with indirectly is its scatter a little bit too much

hmm... you're right.
Did they used to be M6? Maybe it's just a hang up from an older edition; although I think in the older book they moved at the speed of the crew, until the crew were dead.
huh oh well.
