Skaven won. Amazing game and undecided until last combat chase!
It had it all. Grey seer sucked into the warp, daemon princes killed by the furnace. Challenges, bsb hit by a cannon, the cannon exploded... You name it the game had it. Will write a short recap tomorrow as I am too tired now...

Short recap:
We rolled dawned attack, and my army got a little bit spread out. I deployed first and took first turn. He had storm banner for my turn 1 but ended on his turn 1.
We had not tried a game with Plague Furnace before so I wasn't sure what would happen and wanted to try 😊 I probably should have skipped armour and added great weapons on the marauders.
Not sure how a flank attack and challenging work with Plague Furnace. As it, can't be moved, and can't refuse a challenge. Not sure if the ball is used in the challenge either.
BSB broke on my turn when charging monk together with marauder horsemen and marauders that failed their charge. That ended up with the monks chasing the horsemen and ending up in combat with the daemon prince, (not what I wanted it to do 😊
Regarding magic, I used my dispel scroll on turn one, but on turn two Grey Seer had one hell of a turn with two irresistible force casts that ended up with him sucked into the warp. He did manage to wipe out 13 marauders on toughness tests, but it backfired and killed 16 slaves too. Don't remember the second spell that got cast but I think it was some 12" double that did hits everywhere and was a part of why the DP got killed by the Furnace. In the last turn, I almost got off a massive fireball to get off the lasts wound on the furnace, but it got dispelled with irresistible force. Did some bad targets with my mage and might have missed a single round when it was in combat too 😊
Regarding shooting the warp cannons and gas mortar, they got a lot of misfires but ended up with a perfect hit on the BSB in last moment before exploding the turn after. The BSB would otherwise have killed the furnace in turn 5 or 6 for the win 😊
DP and Chimaera both got killed by the furnace. I probably did a mistake with not going after the furnace with the DP and instead went into the unit on the turn after. I didn't know how the unbreakable rules worked for it.
In turn six all I had left was some marauders and my mage, and they got charged by the slaves. Rank won combat for the slaves, and the marauders fled and was overrun 😊
A colossal carnage and a great game that swung back and forth every turn. Thought I would win and lose every turn back and forth 😊

Those back and forth momentum shifting games are the best.

Sounds like a great game! I'm unsure who I'm rooting for as I own and love both armies

man...plague monks are vicious!
I'm going to paint up a big unit of them next after I finish up my 2000 point list. Complete with a priest on a furnace.

Yes, they were awesome Especially when I didn't know what they do and how they work Unbreakable hordes are nasty.

Vulnerable to shooting but wonderful in close combat. Glad you had fun at least twice that week
