A truly awe-inspiring sight. The Snot-Waaagh is a terrifying thing to behold.

This army looks mighty impressive! I really love the colour scheme you have chosen for the stone trolls, maybe I'm going for something like that! And how many snotlings swarms do you need for a full 2000 point army?

And how many snotlings swarms do you need for a full 2000 point army? I think the answer is in your question!

I think for a full 2000 pts army I would need 54 bases. In the old snotling armylist( the one from the 6ed army book) you could take giants as rare, pumpwagons as special and one snotling warboss(stats from a night goblin big boss). When maxed out you had enough points left for 54 if I'm not mistaken so I still have to go a few swarms.

Hello all, First of all my best wishes for the new year, may it be full of fun hobby moments! I finished a classic goblin shaman on spider, it was a fun model to paint. Compared to the 7ed gigantic spider he is really small, but he with fit nicely with my classic spider unit. Next up is the big spider himself, I started on the skin but I have no idea how I will do the scales. Cheers, WGG

Brilliant. I’ve always loved that model. I always wished I bought the other version too (with the warrior)

Lovely. Those trees really make the base.

Hi all, I finally did one of the bigger models of my army. I was always hesitant to paint the big models because I was not sure how they would turn out. Watch out! She is coming for you! mottdon: Thanks! knoffles:It is a lovely model, I still don't have the warrior but I'm looking for it. This one I got really cheap. grandmasterwang: I agree, the base would be to plain without it. Cheers, WGG

Hesitating on the big models is something I'm familiar with. But, it looks awesome! The base looks good too.

You should try taking a fine-point black felt pen (I like Microns, 01 works well) and make a vertical line down the middle of each eye for that "cat eye" effect. I know it's a spider and all, but without an iris, models just look soulless. And the vertical cat eye looks REALLY menacing! You may want to "bow" out the line in the middle a bit, if you feel confident enough.
If you REALLY want to enhance it, take a light yellow paint and make a few horizontal lines across the eye, making sure not to go all the way to the edge (you still want the green to show). THEN draw you vertical iris. BOOM! SAURON EFFECT!
You can take it even further (if you want) and add in a little (VERY LITTLE) white "glint" mark in the top right corner and then apply a medium glaze over it for a "wet" effect. It'll amp up the "creep" factor exponentially!
