As a fellow Skaven player all I can say is that he seems to have been in character After losing some pieces vital to his game plan he squirted the musk of fear and ran away! Seriously though screw that guy the hobby would be better off without him. On the bright side he's most likely moved on to either AoS or 40k; let those guys deal with him now.

For me, it was (and still is) about the community. I could roll into the FLGS and pick up a game with whoever was there. The only other game where that was true was WarmaHordes... which seems to attract some seriously hardcore tournament players around here, and I mean seriously UNPLEASANTLY hardcore. Lol, I've only ever played one TRULY unpleasant, hardcore player before. He was a Skaven player (sorry guys who play Skaven). We had just started our game, I got to go first (with my Empire) and managed to cannon off both of his Warp Lightening Cannons with my two cannons. After I killed the second one, he started yelling, cussing, threw his books across the room, and stormed out of the store, leaving his army and stuff behind. I and my friends were just standing there with our eyes wide and mouths open in shock. The store owner came up to the table in a minute and said that the guy had just called him and asked him to gather up his stuff and he'd be back for them later. I never saw that guy again. Talk about crazy! *That was years ago though. Maybe 7-8 years ago?* Maybe he had a terrible day, his wife/girlfriend left him and got sacked at work. And he just wanted a fun rat time after spending 40h painting his two warp cannon fielding them for the first time and then the rat god shit at him? He just snapped @ryryrak ”in character” LOL

If you can't handle the rat god taking a dump on you once in a while, Skaven are not the army for you.

Lol, well, apparently he had a reputation for doing that sort of thing. I heard from other gamers in the area that he would go from LGS to LGS playing people he'd never met before because nobody else would play him since he did that sort of thing. I knew some of the organizers of the Redstone Rumble tournament and they said that they had to be careful with him and assigning him opponents when he'd show up.
I've met WAAC players before, but this guy took it to a whole new level.

Clearly that guy needed to do what any good Skaven player should do, blame his models, because it was clearly treatery from his underlings not his own fault for doing such things no-no. If anything bad happens in a Skaven game it is treachery, never your own fault, guy needs to learn his army.

haha too true Alan.
It is after all treachery to blame when your cannons both misfire and blow up first turn. Treachery when those doomrockets roll the triple 1 or travel too far/short. Treachery when the Doomwheel "doesn't" restrain from shooting your own troops. Treachery when your most glorious of plans get ruined by your troops breaking/fleeing the field. Treachery when those poison wind mortars "drift" onto your own troops. Treachery when that warpfire thrower explodes and takes half your bunker with it.
Man I love Skaven.
