So I am going to try my first DE game probably next week.
I am thinking about this list: what do you think? BSB will go with the spears to give em a punch.
1st try Dark Elves

Sorceress: Level 2 Wizard; Lore of Dark Magic; Dark Pegasus 165
19 Dreadspears: Lordling; musician; standard bearer 201
5 Dark Riders: musician; repeater crossbows 105
12 Darkshards: musician 154
21 Har Ganeth Executioners: Draich Master; musician; standard bearer 282
War Hydra: Fiery Breath 180
Reaper Bolt Thrower 70

Looks good to me. Remember, you're moving back to very squishy. It'll be hard to simply charge and smash. DE are much better at this than WE, but try not to pick match ups that will become wars if attrition.
Dark Magic is made for damage, not support, so just keep that in mind and positioning your sorceress where she'll do the max damage. The Dark Pegasus should help with that. He also gives her a touch of armor protection. Don't forget that.
Looking forward to your game!

Maybe its better with a normal steed then pegasus on the sorceress. And but the extra points in some more RnF?

Well where would she go? I you put her on a steed, then she'd need some protection from your Dark Riders unit and you need them as chaff. Also, Dark Magic needs you to be more offensive minded and get your Sorceress in a prime positioning to be able to cast effectively. Personally, I think that her superior movement as well as the Dark Riders ability to move will buy your units plenty of time to get across the board.

mottdon so we might run 2000p depends on todays stamina.

Then I might try to add another unit of Dark Riders, move my Sorceress up to a level 4, and maybe a couple of bolt throwers. Cold One knights might be a good idea as well. Depends on points and what models you have available.

So fun running 2000p. I really look forward to the day we can play 2500-3000p games. I just want more models on the field 😊 But that has to be booked long in advanced with permission of the wife's. With small children, it's a gamble with health so pretty impossible

I hear ya! I typically play 2500 pt games, but they have to be scheduled FAR in advance and I have to have REALLY pulled my weight around the house for a while!
Once I even gave her a "weekend off" by booking a hotel for her and a spa treatment the next day, while I took care if the quads. Yeah...I got to have my game the next weekend.

I'd consider some kind of Ward Save on your sorceress, ESPECIALLY if she's going to ride around on a peg.
I'd drop the champion upgrades in your units to find the points. Whatever unit you plan to bunker your bsb in can keep their champ though.
Also a halberd/enchanted shield contradict on your bsb. Sure you get the extra armor against shooting but in cc you're looking at a 3+ save; if you want to keep the save then drop the halberd. I'm more a fan of armor of destiny on my bsbs though but that could just be me.
