I really like the wood elf love on display. It's one of those armies I will do one day. I promise! Are those LotR eagles? And is 12 a good unit size for dryads in game? I haven't seen much of them locally. Thank you. Yes LoTR eagles, think they work great. Not sure about the dryads yet as this is the only size I have tried so far. With 12 they still hit a enough but cheap to throw away as chaff if needed. I will also try 24 one day. But I think the dryads needs a lot of magic help to win combat. :/

Finished my first unit of glade guard. Don’t really like this model and find them hard to rank up and the sculpts are plotty.

Lovely stuff, so many nicely painted elves here!
And I think you might be right about the dryads. Without S4 they aren't great. My friend's chief argument for playing 9th age over 8th is that he has his S4 dryads back, he has like 50 painted.

All your new elves are looking great - the Dryads have a good balance of looking tree-like without being dull (which is what badly painted ones end up looking like). You've done well with the Glade Guards too, particularly if they're models you don't like (I get that they have some slightly contorted/unnatural poses, but as a whole the models are good).
If I haven't said it before, I love your basing. Woodies and Lizards are the two armies I'd say most need interesting bases to feel right, and yours fit in well with the GG colour scheme.

Thank you, regarding GG all were pre built and all the former owners have chosen the biggest (great word and reminds me of the monthly python sketch biggus dickus) cloaks and attached them in the worst positions for ranking up.

Slowly stroke by stroke. My WIP: He's looking really good! And you don't want to stroke him too fast, you'll put your eye out.
