Lookin' great, struts! Aren't Wood Elves the army you started with? You must be nearing completion on them.
"Edit try new upload software, hires on click." - And what's this? Confused.

Tapatalk app had problems with images. Edit my own post after I found a manual image upload page. I keep buying more woodies, canβt help it... but I am beyond 50% completed and all RnF. a lot of horses in my to do though.

I love your bases. Looking at your image of the War Dancers, what did you use on their bases as well as the movement tray? Looks GREAT. Also, What are those bases in the background for? The War Hawks? Where did you get them and how will you attach them to it?
Sorry for all the questions. I just got really curious.

Thx So i have been tailoring around with different approaches over the years. If starting a new unit my go to is glue small flat stones (trying to remember what they are called). Then i use vallejo texture medium/putty youtu.be/QIqi6YK0sVg. Anyone will do, current one i use is transparent. And just paint when dry Yes i bought resin tree stub bases. Will drill a little hole for flying pin to sit in. Edit: think the English word for the stones is slate.

That's awesome. I should still be trying out new methods, but I just get stuck doing the same thing over and over. I love the tree stub bases. I bought (YEARS ago) some small curved flight stands that worked surprisingly well! They came in varying heights, so that the models didn't run into each other. I was really surprised by just how strong they were though. Much sturdier than an average flight stand and they're clear, so you don't see that black wire hanging from them. You might want to look into something like that for attaching them to your bases. The curve also gives it a nice dynamic motion to the model and fits the flying aspect of the Hawks. I'll see if I can find a link to some for you. Just a thought. Okay, here's a link to my WE page with the Lord on Eagle and War Hawks. Those have the bases. That's the best I can find right now. eefl.freeforums.net/thread/29/mottdons-wood-elf-army
