Woot, November was a busy month. I snagged some more metal White Lions, some more trolls, another Jabberslythe, and A metal Shaggoth. I was surprised to find a complete 6th ed metal Anvil of Doom for dirt cheap. The prize of the month was an unopened Arcane Ruins box. That I will probably hand over to the wife to put under the tree 🎄

So for me this month, it was to take advantage on my missus' behalf of Titan Forge's sale and got myself some pirate Ogres for Christmas.
They'll start life as an extension to my DoW but hopefully will form an Ogre army of their own in time sticking with the pirate theme. So Mrs G has invested in ogre crew and command figures and some pirate Leadbelchers to get me started!

Picked up a box of Night Goblins, Kurnoth Hunters/Tree Kin, and one of the new AoS undead harvesting monsters that I'll figure something out to use it as on a local Black Friday sale.
I also got in Cassyon d'Parravon by care of Grimforge.

Picked up some ruins of Osgiliath as well as a bunch of storage boxes so that I can more accurately and easily store my miniatures.

I feel you! I keep investing in boxes and storage. It's a war Mrs G wishes I wasn't losing... haha I'm doing this to try and take back the storage closet so that the Mrs won't be so angry with me! Plus...having loose miniatures just floating around inside boxes hitting and rubbing each other, breaking those spears and dangly bits...triggers my OCD. I need to do this for my own sanity!

Ha again I feel your pain! What I'd quick like to do magnetize the bases to movement trays then magnetize the trays to storage boxes - save having to pack and unpack but I don't think I have the patience to work it out!

I did that with my Warhammer armies! It is nice but takes a bunch of prep work; not to mention a lot of magnets - the storage boxes are for Mordheim, DnD, Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game, and Flames of War!

More patience than I I think! I was looking into doing it then I realised all of my bases have a 4mm ring underneath and I couldn't find the right size of magnets!
Edit: Then I dont have magnet sheets for the trays haha. All in all. I think more effort on my part!

You can get 8.5*11 magnet sheets from Amazon. I magnetize my bases to my movement trays (I use Litko.net for my bases). For transport, I use plastic storage boxes from a Target and use the magnet sheets to line them. Then I can pile all my minis in and they are reasonably protected from minor bumps and such. You can see this in my current monthly painting challenge post where I have a bunch of Zombicide models ready for storage.

I use tool boxes. I used to use metal ones until I found some plastic ones at Harbor Freight that stack inside each other when not full. They come as a 4 piece set for like $25 or something really low, the two larger ones have clear plastic slide out cases on top and the two smaller ones have interior tray inserts. Magnetize the bottom insides and you're good to go. The largest one can fit plastic Nagash and the FW LoC standing upright and still have room for another big monster or two.

I’ve started the process by buying a few plastic boxes from hobbycraft and have the magnetic movement trays ready for my Brets. I just need some addition magnetic strips for the bottom of the trays and the box.

The ebay gods were looking down on me today. I just picked up 8 6th ed bretonnian knights assembled (but unpainted) for 18 bucks.

Errr... Thanks to a bit of commission painting I ended up with a bit of a list on impulses: 40 generic goblins, 30 savage orcs + warboss, a metal orc rock lobber, the gloomspite box warboss on great cave squig (dammit it was a recast bought through proxy by a friend, he didn't check), I received a luminark as a present, 40 flagellants, a job lot of movement trays and bases and the new ogre tyrant.
