Anyone else a fan of these weird one eyed creatures? My first exposure to them was via Storm of Magic and Monstrous Arcanum.
They are pretty beefy. So long as there are no objections I'll post pictures of the various Fimir units I know of from my books so 8th Edition fans can have more exposure to this unique race

I quite like them now that the rapist stuff isn't a prominent part of the background anymore. Like you I've first modeled one inspired by SoM. The Forgeworld version are awesome too...one day they shall be mine. There is a guy on warhammer-empire who went way to the deep end on fimirs, all the way to sculpting alternate heads and what not. Check this out (may take some digging to find the fimirs): warhammer-empire.com/theforum/index.php?topic=48972.1150

They’ve been knocking around since the early days of warhammer but their fluff wasn’t as bad at that point. I’m sure they were in the 3rd Edition book but then disappeared until their later reincarnation. I’m even sure I have 6 plastic models of them that came in the MB/GW Heroquest game.

I'm a fan, though haven't got around to picking up any of the models yet. I'm glad Forge World bought out the Noble post-AOS, as it suggests they're going to continue to run with them.

Ok, so they don't actually have as many units as I first thought. I have tried to gather everything I could so this can remain a useful thread for any.. 'fimirites' First of all... Origin. Map from Monstrous Arcanum shows where the Fimir are most densely populated. I also saw a nice little piece of art showing the Fimir in the same book which I have attached.

The ruling class. If anyone knows of any other Fimir units or has any other Fimir related material they would like to share, this is the place for it. The Warriors are from Monstrous Arcanum, the Balefiends are from Storm of Magic. A cool little Warhammer species like Dragon Ogres.

Maybe we should have a go at expanding them into a mini-army with some more selections? The fluff mentions their matriarchs being leaders, and Total War: Warhammer has a unique elite Fimir unit "The Mist Stalkers" with vanguard and causing terror.
What units might associate with them? Dragon Ogres have some similarities, but are more mountain based than swamp dwellers. River Trolls seem an obvious accompaniment that they might rouse up to join them, and Fen Beasts could fit.

I am planning on adding Fimir to my Wood Elf (Swamp Elf) army. So on point! So on theme!
I have done a few deep dives on eBay but have not yet pulled the trigger to purchase any yet. I was going to bring a squad to our next SoM (Storm of Magic) game.

You don't by any chance have a clear picture of the Khemric Titan pages?

I think this is a great idea! You could add units of Troglodites, Mushroom people, Basilisk, that big eyeball floating thing with all the other smaller eyeball tenticles around it - I forget what it's called. I realize that most of those are cave-dwellers, but they still seems to fit in with these beasties. I really like the idea of Dragon Ogres and Fen Beasts. Maybe a Toad Dragon? Basically, on Outcast Beasts army. (Of course, River Trolls could always fit in here too.)

These are all just photos I took from my books so I'll take some of the Khemric Titan pages next time I've got them to hand and post them for you. I store my books in a place separate to the apartment where I normally reside so it'll likely be a couple/few days but I'll certainly post the rules/lore/art for the Khemric Titan for you. I'm a big fan of the unit as a Tomb King collector (500 points if I remember). It's a giant beetle in the art and I bought Allarielles beetle from AOS off of eBay specifically to use as the Khemri titan given its size. As I don't play with unpainted units I haven't had a chance to test the Khemric Titan rules yet.

I have 2 Hordes skorne cyclops (pictured) to assemble/paint and plan to use them as proxy Fimir as their size/great weapons match and the back banners can symbolise the 3 dice leadership rule. One thing at a time though....but it's always good to have some future hobby projects planned for the horizon. I remember someone on Chaos Dwarfs online trying to do an entire Fimir army which is awesome.

Add units of Troglodites, Mushroom people, Basilisk... Yaaaas! I am working on these exact things like, now. Like, as in last night. Whoa. So cool. That big eyeball floating thing with all the other smaller eyeball tenticles around it - I forget what it's called... Beholder?
