After turn 1: My general and only sorcerer got sucked into the warp for a spirit leached mornfang on 4 dice... Down to 3 points left... Killed some ogres with fireglaives 😊 and hellcanon. Misfired magma cannon and death shrieker panic when sorcerer died. picture after my turn but before ogres turn 1.

Short recap:
Will come back tomorrow and write more on each turn!
What a game again! Can't express how much our games swing.
I thought the game was over before my opponent had his first turn but hoped for the best and prayed to Hasut, the only true God!
On his first turn, his ironguts moved forward to bait a charge from me which I took on my second trurn and somehow won with hellcannon taking two close combat(killing cat and then overrun into next combat). And when his general fleed and was overrun the game swung back to my favor. At an equal of 3 points, each and first losing one more banner would lose the game
The kdaii fireborn was again amazing. I love this unit. They single handed held down an ogre bus and mornefangs.
On final turn my fireborn had great dice managing a total of 7 wounds and killing his champion with auto-wounds opening up for attacking the unit. And when his mornefang fled their banner died bringing his points down to 2, and I won.
First time my fireglaives was allowed to fire, and I was impressed.
Overall I do like running two units of dwarfs and less amount of WM.
Shrieker did one wound whole game, magma cannon 0 wounds but hellcanon did one shot for five wounds.

Is that a consistent theme that your units do far more than the warmachines?

Is that a consistent theme that your units do far more than the warmachines? Short answere no. Long answere, depends on matchup, against ogres magma cannon is nuts, deathshrieker not so good, hellcanon situational. Against skaven/low toughness i would call all of them nuts. This is the first time we realized blood and glore is 9” and not 12” so then I places HC on the line so it was close enough to charge if needed. And at 9” everything is in CC by turn 2 so there are not that many shots. I would say that when I changed to dual blocks of dwarfs my blocks have done far more overall. It just feels stronger overall. But I have had games with dual magma where they did almost 100% of my kills, but all of those game I have more or less lost.

Is that a consistent theme that your units do far more than the warmachines? To elaborate some more. I think I can run CD without WM and it would still feel pretty strong. But I don't think I can run it without some RnF.
