Teddy bear fur repurposed as tall grass, it may give some models some trouble but holy gods does it make a field pop! Even better is the 7'x5' size to make a standard gamin table with a few gently rolling hills that can be made in a matter of minutes using some insulation foam. Think i know what i am asking for my birthday this year! Check em out let me know your thoughts!

Strutsagget has one like that, I believe. There's photos of it in use somewhere on this forum.

Yes, It is in both my table mat thread and in some photos. It looks great, but you need movement trays and no single metal characters as they will fall over. Sliding works perfect with trays though.

That is what i figured with single figures, probably true about giant sized models made of all plastic too? I hoped to see one in person before deciding but i definitely think i might get one. I will check out your pictures for sure.

I can’t decide if I prefer this to the ‘standard’ mats. I do like the road cut into this. It’s made it very tempting. The one I’m tempted with is this one but no idea on what they are like either: warzone40k.com/wargame-scenery-crossroads

What's dice rolling like on it? Horrendous 🤣 You need box/cart for the dice or a dice tower .

If you talk about killing fields

I assumed they had just cut some of the ‘grass’ off the mat and then painted/added stones for texture.

I believe the website mentioned that wheat fields, roads and rivers where all able to be put into the mats. More research required.
