Most of my buildings are from GW over the years. For trees etc, I tend to get them from toy farm suppliers such as: www.scalefarm.com/_model-brushwood_brushwood_farm_toys.htmThe rough cut hedges are identical to those that you used to buy from GW 29 odd years ago (pretty sure the trees are the same too, though they now come with a plastic base).

Anywhere I come across decent terrain. I've got a good amount of GW stuff, but have some resin walls and waystone from ebay, a tower from Battlefield in a Box, plus pre-painted/flocked farm buildings, hills, ponds, rivers and more from different vendors at an exhibition (Salute). There's almost certainly some other stuff from different places that I've forgotten about, and some bits I've made from scratch myself including a giant skull from a pet shop (aquarium decoration).
There's some very impressive scenery bits (particularly Orc/Dwarf themed bits) from various Eastern European companies that can also be found on ebay, and which I want to get. There also used to be a company called Monolith Icon that did stunning towers (particularly the Dark Elf and Chaos ones) but which disappeared a couple of years ago.

I think strutsagget is probably one of the most versed members here on this forum, regarding terrain, now. He has some amazing pieces!

For rivers, I like the tabletop world but it was a lot of work and would probably buy a cheaper one today like this one as I think it looks awesome when great flocking applied and pretty slim. www.gf9.com/Default.aspx?tabid=348&art_id=2028The only issue with those is that they're really for 15mm scale miniatures, and are more like dinky streams on a WFB board.

Maybe I am confused with something that looks like it though. there are some alternative.

Buildings and stuff
And of course this project looks awesome, if I wasn't so deep into tabletop world I would back it more(as the aesthetic is different). From what I understand it will be available as 3d printed files in the end.

I would just keep an eye out for any reasonable kits that spring up.
I picked up the Fortified Mansion from GW before it became a ludicrous collectors piece on eBay, and it was great value and came with a load of walls and hedges etc. I have also nabbed a few other GW bits off eBay over the years like the Arcane Ruins. I fancy grabbing a Dreadstone Blight at some point as well as the Graveyard thing which looks reasonable value.
For forests you can either go GW or pick up some nice looking trees from any model railway shop (probably Woodland Scenics or the like) and mount them on a base so you can move them around to position models.
Hills I personally just make my own out of blue foam and a bit of plasticard. Paint, scatter, you're all done. A few different manufacturers do acceptable hills, just browse through Element or Wayland games (or equivalents) shop
Renedra do some nice plastic stuff. I got my Barn from them
Amera plastic is also where I got my River from, it is a cheap cheap alternative to Tabletop World but is not as impressive (or large I wouldn't think). I think these guys do some basic hills and other stuff too.
Scibor do some little things, I got my Dwarf Ruins from them which are basically some statues I used for odd projects.
I'll have a think and see if I can remember any other suppliers I've come across
Battlefield in a box do a few alright things too

I don’t think you can actually get that particular box anymore either (it states that on the flames of war site). You can get the expansions, such as the below and these come with 2 normal river sections and one ‘special’ river section per box (approx 3’ (90cm) in length in total). Looking at YouTube reviews they look fine scale wise with 28mm www.darksphere.co.uk/p.php?p=12272
