Also, Mottdon, having a poorly painted/average army means I never suffer from the random picking up of models 🤣 Lol, we've all been there! But with practice and patience, everyone gets better!

I also find it MUCH easier using the simple pens I posted above to make the eyes. It's no problem to circle it out to the size you want. I do this every time and it has saved me SO MUCH time and effort over trying to get the right amount of paint of a tiny brush tip and apply it evenly. I think that this is where many people struggle and get frustrated. I used to use the brush, but once I swapped to pen, I'll never go back. If you do use a brush, I generally use a size 0 brush for eyes. Make sure the black is thinned a bit too. This is key so the brush doesn't drag.

I bought a couple of fine line pens from staples for the eyes (after advice here a while ago). I found it much easier than using a brush (my hands aren’t steady enough for that). Not that I tend to bother with eyes much but it’s aspirational 😀.

Those Micron pens also come with a "brush tip" option. I have a set of those in various colors, but I usually only use the black. I find that those work best on models with very small eyes. The brush tip is simply easier to get into those small spaces. Plus, it always keeps a constant amount of black on the tip, doesn't glob or weep, and never has bristles that may separate and cause you to start over. I really like the brush set, but for larger eyes, the pen tips work better.
