Orcs vs Lizardmen 3000pts with pics

I’ve been itching to get my Orcs on the table for some time. The Lizardmen were ready to take on 3000pts of the Waaagh! Sorry no pic of the individual units.
Set up
Orcs left to right
Giant #1, 40 boyz w/additional hand weapons and command, Rock Lobber #1, 32 Ruglud’s Armoured orcs, Great Shaman, 2 Bolt Throwers, Rock Lobber #2, Black Orc Warboss & BSB with 40 Boyz w/Shields full command, Giant #2, Shaman, 18 Trolls with Orc Bigboss on Boar.
Lizardmen left to right
3 Krox, Salamander #1, Skinks, Trogledon, 30 Saurus w/Chakax full command & spears, Skink Priest on that giant skull, Salamander #2, 28 Templeguard, Slann, Bastiladon, 30 Saurus full command spears, Stegadon, Salamander #3. Chameleon Skinks in the woods.
Orcs turn 1
Squabbling keeps the hand weapon and shield boys back. Rock Lobber kills some Saurus form Chakax’s unit.
Lizardmen turn 1
Chameleons pepper Giant #1. Bastiladon ZAPPS Giant #2. Salamander and Stegadon take out a few trolls.
Orcs turn 2
Giant #2 and Trolls charge the Saurus! Unfortunately the Saurus make an Insane Courage roll, thanks to the Slann and Cold Blooded.
Giant #1 charge the Salamander, who flee, giant fails redirect. Hand weapon and Shield Boyz Squabble again. Rock Lobber #1 misfires and destroys itself. Ruglud’s and the war machines take out some Templeguard.
Lizardmen turn 2
Krox beat down Giant #1. Bastiladon and Stegadon join the Troll/Giant Party. Stegadon does some impact hits but Giant stops the combat cold with a Yell & Bawl! However all the Lizard units hold.
Orcs turn 3
GORK IS ALIVE! The green foot stomps down on Chakax’s unit twice, once was a direct hit. Gork then stomps on the Krox and Trogledon before he wanders off. Giant #2 is killed and falls onto the trolls. The Trolls win combat after picking on the Saurus but Cold Blooded keeps them in the fight.
Lizardmen turn 3
The Templeguard get in on the action and charge the Warboss and his boyz. Two Salamanders get in on the troll fight but can’t break them.
Orcs Turn 4
Hand Weapon and Shield boyz charge Chakax and what is left of his unit. The Great Shaman gives everyone Ere We Go. The Trolls finally finish off the Saurus the Segadon holds but the Salamanders flee.
Lizardmen turn 4
The Slann is doing his best to buff his unit and hex the Orcs but the Templeguard keep falling. The Trogledon join the fight with Chakax. The boyz take out the last of the Saurus but it isn’t enough and they are run down. The Trolls can’t manage to roll a 5 to wound this turn because the Stegadon is clinging to his last two wounds.
Orcs turn 5
Ruglud’s boyz put a wound on Chakax and a Bolt Thrower wounds the Trogledon. The Warboss and BSB finish off the Templeguard the Slann breaks and dies. The Trolls finally finish off the Stegadon and reform.
Lizardmen turn 5
Chameleons and regular Skinks put a hurt on Ruglud’s but they hold. Salamanders roast some trolls.
Orc turn 6
Just out of range of the Warboss the Trolls go stupid, but they done enough to deserve a rest. GORK IS BACK! The big foot comes down on the skinks, who panic. He also stomps the Krox into dust. Gork then makes a mistake and stomps on the Bolt Throwers, embarrassed he wonders off. Runglud’s boyz turn Chakax into a pin cushion.
Lizardmen turn 6
The Skinks rally and the Chameleons take out a Bolt Thrower. The Salamanders roast another troll. The Trogledon tries to get some last minute points and charges the Great Shaman but he holds his ground.
A mighty Orc VICTORY! The combination of the Trolls and the Food of Gork were the tipping points of match. I don’t know about my son, but I got a big kick out of watching Gork stomping around the field. The Trolls were great chewing through both the Saurus and Stegadon, on top of tying up the Batiladon and Salamanders. Giant #2 deserves a special Shout Out, his well timed Yell and Bawl saved a lot of potential damage.
