I’ve managed to slip in a last minute completion of a pledge. 16 quarrellers that had been sitting in a box for quite a while. Nice one knoffles and nice colour scheme.

I’ve managed to slip in a last minute completion of a pledge. 16 quarrellers that had been sitting in a box for quite a while. Nice one knoffles and nice colour scheme. I may have a slight quarreller addiction as I now have 60 of them... What I did realise after taking this shot is that the other 40 were some of the first models painted after returning to the hobby and were lack basic touches, such as washes (hence the xbows look so bright/one dimensional). Straight after this shot, I then went back and nuln oiled the crap out of the other models and they now match the newer ones (though I forgot to take an updated photo before packing them away).

I have a unit to paint and I’m starting to like the paints a lot. I’ve just picked up a few more to paint RnF lizards

So the red was flesh tearers red over grey seer primer. I had to carrobourg crimson over the top of it to bring it more towards my original colours. The blacks & greys were all black templar (thinned with medium for lighter tones). I used wyldwood for the brown. Then just a few highlights here and there. Not much to them!
