Time for a mega game with this army I like my mega-games! Of course, this is only the mounted stuff. Once I add in all the foot troops, war machines and wagons, it probably triples in size to this.

I like that Beast wizard a lot and his big claw.
Is that from the Karl Franz Griffon kit?

I like that Beast wizard a lot and his big claw. Is that from the Karl Franz Griffon kit? Yep! That's the one! His cape has that little point right in the middle of it because that is where the saddle chair-back was supposed to end up, but I don't find it too noticable.

Your painting skills are excellent! Keep up Sigmars work. Thanks! Glad you like it! I employ an additional hand brush as my chosen painting attack.

I’m really enjoying seeing these models and FairPlay for going back to them. It can be a real chore to do that, especially if you have unpainted stuff lined up.

I’m really enjoying seeing these models and FairPlay for going back to them. It can be a real chore to do that, especially if you have unpainted stuff lined up. Yeah, the whole unpainted backlog is still quite large, but I think I've basically been trying to finish off my entire Empire range before moving on to the others. It's my oldest army and largest, so I'd really like to see it close to done. For me, that also means revisiting older models that I threw some paint on before I knew what I was doing. (Not that I really know now, but I can at least fake it better. 😁) It's also making me give a more cohesiveness element to the army. I've always had a tremendous feeling of having huge "gaps" in my army, even though I had enough models. Mostly due to the amount of gray plastic left in my Empire boxes. I'd really like to eliminate that feeling. I also realized that many of these models were never really photographed (or photographed well). I wanted to rectify that and create a proper digital log of them.

I can understand that. Although it’s not my oldest army (it’s the one I got when I came back to Warhammer in 8th) I’m on the same drive with my dwarves.

I do find not fielding unpainted models is a good driving force to getting some paint on them I can't wait to throw down my Chaos Dwarfs but not til they're done..
