Here you can find the upcoming Sylvaneth releases and here the war-of-sigmar.herokuapp.com/bloggings/912 in french, but a rough translation is in the comments. I like it and I think would work wonderful in a 8th edition Wood Elves armylist. KevinC created already some nice rules for the AoS Ironjawz, now let us use this thread for idea's for the tree things.

For Alarielle here profile I would take 5/6/5/4/4/4/6/3/10 (taken from End Times Khaine book), level 5, loremaster (Lore of Life), ASF, Anathema to Chaos, Blessing of Isha. Together with the beetle she should cost around 800 - 1000 points. In the weekend I will brainstorm more about it.

I'm a big fan of the Beetle, I want to get one and put Goblins on it to use as an Arachnarok Spider...
Regarding WFB background...I'm trying to figure how these new models fit in with the Elf armies. Obvioulsy, the bulk of the release fit in with the Wood Elves, but the Everqueen is a High Elf. Perhaps the 8th Edition rules should reflect that the Beetle rider is Ariel, the Queen in the Wood, rather than the Everqueen...thoughts?

I see this whole release as a wood elf expansion release. Until you brought it up it didnt actually dawn on me that the beetle rider was the high elf queen and not the forest queen. Im all for Ariel for 8th.... makes more sense and there is already an on foot everqueen model which looks nothing like this one. The wings on beetle rider reminded me of old butterfly wings and i mentally assumed it was her.
Beetle would make an amazing arachnarok!
I need to see it in person and im hoping it is as big as i think it is but i oneday would like to use it as the Khemric titan from Monstrous Arcanum which FW infortunately never made.
