Hi,
just asked ChatGTP to create a background story for a bretonnian Knight. I like the more humble attempt of the story, without too much drama. I can only recomment to give it a try yourself.
The story:
Once upon a time, in the kingdom of Bretonnia, there lived a young nobleman named Sir Julien. He was the second son of a powerful lord, and had been raised from birth to follow in his father's footsteps and become a knight.
From a young age, Sir Julien showed a talent for swordsmanship and horsemanship, and was soon enrolled in the prestigious Knightly Academy of Couronne. There, he trained for many years, honing his skills in combat and learning the chivalric code that all knights of Bretonnia were expected to uphold.
When Sir Julien emerged from the Knightly Academy, he was a skilled and fearless warrior, eager to prove himself in battle. He was soon granted his own fiefdom, a small estate on the edge of the Forest of Arden, and was charged with defending it from all manner of threats.
Over the years, Sir Julien became known throughout Bretonnia for his bravery and skill in battle. He fought against orcs, goblins, and other creatures of the forest, and even led a campaign against a band of roving Chaos warriors that had been terrorizing the countryside.
Despite his many victories, Sir Julien remained humble and true to the chivalric code. He was renowned for his generosity, always eager to help those in need, and was loved by his people for his kindness and fairness.
In time, Sir Julien retired from active service, and passed his fiefdom on to his son. But his legend lived on, and he remained a beloved figure throughout Bretonnia, a symbol of all that was best about the knightly order.

Sadly, we don't need an AI for this.

Nothing new here. I'm pretty sure an early prototype AI wrote Gav Thorpe's novels.

I had some solid suggestions for army themes and backgrounds by ChatGPT, so it is definitely a useful tool if you are stuck on finding some inspiration.
I can also see this being of great use for writing background texts for scenarios and/or battle reports: those do not be to need overly complicated, but typing them up can be tough anyway. ChatGPT is the perfect tool to get this done fast and easy.
None of this will stop people being creative - quite the contrary in my opinion. Often all it takes to get "the creative juices flowing" is some brainstorming and throwing ideas on the wall long enough so something can stick. Text AIs are perfect for this!
