I've just arranged to finally buy the 8th edition hardback rulebook via eBay and during the bidding hype ended up buying 2 issues of the old Citidel Journal (50 looks to be some chaos special which sucked me in).
Did I just sucker myself and buy 2 white dwarf magazines under a different title?? (I've already read all the old white dwarfs) Or is Citidel Journal a unique publication? I can't recall ever seeing them in my neck of the woods.
I got issue 50 and 26 of the Citidel Journal I believe as they had cool covers.

The Citadel Journal was a bi-monthly (or quarterly?) publication and had a total of 50 issues. It was designed as a journal for players to contribute house rules, new units, tactics, and scenarios. I was a regular contributor for many years.
Issue 50, updated Chaos special characters for the 6th edition Hordes of Chaos book (Arbaal, Azazel, Scyla, etc).
What's the cover of issue 26? One of my articles might appear in it...

I actually lost out on issue 50 in the end. I am getting issue 25 and 26. One features gobbos so hopefully there is some Coleman in there

Well I've read through my citidel journals and now I'll add these to my collectors pile. Included is an article from none other than this forum's own Kevin Coleman in the goblin cover issue.

Wow that's a blast from the past...mid-90s?
It's basically a Night Goblin vs. Skaven battle inside Karak Eight Peaks using the Warhammer Quest dungeon templates as the "battlefield."

I remember that one took a long time to get published. I think I actually wrote it in '95 or '96, and then it was published in '98. I think CJ was quarterly at that time.
Thanks, I had fun writing it! In particular, I enjoyed writing about the Skaven assassin (Squeeggie Quickdeath?) who hated the Deathmaster Snitch. Haha.
