The new WD features new Tzeentch releases including Kairic Acolytes and Tzaangors (Beastmen with the Mark of Tzeentch). Perfect for WFB 8th ed. Chaos Legions.

it's certainly the AoS release that has me most intrigued so far (which actually doesn't mean that much). I wonder what they would look like with a more natural skin tone.

Absolutely... I'm pumped for this release.
I'm still waiting on this Lord of Change model... it better be epic!

that's a lot to take in! happy that he hasn't been hitting the gym and taken the 'roids like some of his minion. The model is indeed an eyeful! It would take absolutely ages to paint to a decent standard. With regards to the roids, as you go down the Tzeentchian food chain his servants get more and more buff which is quite fitting for Tzeentch imo. The Kairic Acolytes all have rippling 8 packs but are the least/weakest of his servants. The more powerful Tzaangor aren't as defined so it makes sense that the mighty Lord of Change would still be gangly as the Tzeentchian big dog. The only thing I don't like is the tri-eye. Hopefully there is a normal eye option as well. Something about multiple eyes bugs me. The Kairos version should be great. I love the original metal Lord of Change but never really liked the Kairos Fateweaver they released. If I ever got this model (hopefully one day) I'd use it as an Exalted Greater Daemon due to the size. I'd love to see if next to the fw model.

It is cool. I presume the scale is that of the new Bloodthristers?
I hope it has the option to create Kairos in the kit.

Apparently another Tzeentchian daemon kit coming.. I'm hoping it is something new and not horror/gaunt based.
There will be another head option in addition to Kairos which is great!
Can't wait to see this kit in the flesh. It really is fantastically Tzeentchian.

The combined Tzeentchian range is really starting to look impressive.

I have the Tzaangors from silver tower (a game I highly recommend) and they are amazing models.

I have the Tzaangors from silver tower (a game I highly recommend) and they are amazing models. Indeed. That whole set is awesome. The box set is cheaper than buying the heroes individually. On the buff Acolytes, the newest White Dwarf reveals that their physique is a result of a painful spell of transformation and not at all natural. The White Dwarf has some great art in it. I'm tempted by the Tzeentchian dice also..... Hmmmm.

On Silver tower... Had a game with my mate the other day (first shard mission) where a random plebby Acolyte survived both our hero attacks (we killed all his friends easy and the Skaven assassin in one round and dispatched the Gaunt Summoner in 2) for 2 whole rounds completely unscathed. Then when it came time for him to act he promptly ran away and escaped through a portal after wounding me in an earlier round!
Funny that on that playthrough this mere 'Acolyte' proved our most fearsome foe and survived as well!
With the Gaunt Summoner slain he no doubt took control of the tower and after his heroics and guile is probably a Daemon Prince by now.
