Hi guys,
I always ask myself "where did they get this name from..."?
In some cases, it is obvious, of course, like: "Altdorf", inspired from "Düsseldorf" in Germany, where the local beer is called "Alt"... and Düsseldorf's old rival is Cologne (in German "Köln" = "Nuln").
But what about this: There's a German 80's singer, Hubert Kah.
Hubert Kah's real name is Hubert Kemmler (mind the initials). He worked together with producer, arranger and keyboarder Lothar Krell...

It's technically 40k not Fantasy, but the World Eaters Primarch of Khorne Angron...is actually named after one of the early GW designers mates called Ron...who was apparently quite angry after a few at the pub.
...so Angry Ron--------> Angron

Interesting, I always thought Kemmler was inspired by a certain Nazi (certainly his forename suggests as such). Perhaps he was inspired a bit by both...
