As far as GUOs go, I think that I like the first one (in that set of 4) the most. The cream, baby blue and pink color scheme is absolutely horrid, but with the right colors, I think that it could be awesome. True, I like the guts falling out better than the gaping mouth, but I bet they are swappable parts. I like the guts on the FW (4th one) the most though. It looks like the skin was so rotten that it just ripped apart. The others look like they could've been cut by a blade. I do, however, like all the fat rolls on the newer ones. I basically share your sentiment, allthough the third one is really starting to grow on me, especially if I consider how he would look if if all the face tentacles shared the same colour as the tongue!

WOW! All this Nurgle stuff is amazing.
If there is one thing GW has done right in the past few years it's their Nurgle models.
I love the new Great Unclean Ones, and happy to see that they are the same size as the Forge World one.
The character in the new models is just spot on. One of the reasons I go into WFB was because of the classic Orcs & Goblins models designed by Kev Adams - those models were full of character. The new Nurgle models, starting with those in The End Times, remind me of the good old days!

More Nurgley goodness: A New Blightking character: Blightkings riding Plague Drones: Not too excited about the mortal Nurgle units, Blightkings are classified as infantry so can be stomped/thunderstomped; they're also extremely vulnerable to spells like dreaded thirteenth. They also only get a single supporting attack. They're mounted on a 40mm base they SHOULD be monstrous infantry. All GW really did was ensure that I never buy/use them. The Blightkings on plague drones are another matter though. That's just awesome. KevinC we'll need some rules for those guys...

Man, this is unfair... how am I suppose to choose now for my next army... Were suppose to choose empire. At least I have a year before my next army as 2018 is my HE year. If they release new Slanesh models I will have to go daemons.

Would you guys consider it a potentially good idea to convert those mounted Blightkings into charioteers for Gorebeast Chariots? Hopefully the seat, or atleast their legs, aren't connected to the rotfly. Edit: That single Blightlord would probably make a decent BSB. If I got it probably change the shield and greenstuff over the maggot wounds. Regarding Putrid Blightkings I'd definitely recommend buying atleast a box of them if you're going to make some Nurgle WoCs.They make excellent characters, fit on 25mm bases and leave you with plenty of spare parts to use on warriors etc. All in all that makes them one of the best cost-for-value things you can buy from GW.

The new Beast of Nurgle is very cute. Possibly my favourite of the bunch.
In Australia it's the single most overpriced of the lot. $70. For basically a single Nurgle spawn. Ouch. Will look for bits online later. US price is $40 which is expensive already. exchange rate currently is $1.28 Aud to $1 US. Given fair pricing should be roughly $52 Aud... shame GW... shame.
The Great Unclean One again GW shafting down under with exhorbitant pricing. $140 USD x 1.28 = $179.2 ..... which would be roughly in line with the Glottkin (amazing kit). Cost to us poor Australians for the slimey new plastic Great Unclean One is.... $230 AUD. What we getting charged a $50 convict tax are we? Games Workshop go fleck yourself. Killing our local retailers....how can they compete with online when they have to use the Australian prices. Poor form Games Workshop.......poor form. Still love the models but my enthusiasm is dampened.

So I just pre-ordered the new Great Unclean One, Horticulous Slimux (I've been waiting for him to come out separately), Spilpox Scrivener, and the Maggotking book (I like to read the lore)!!!!

I'm not sure if Nurgle is ascendent but the prices sure are.... You're definitely correct. I just saw some of the new prices here in Canada and they are astronomical. $170 for a Great Unclean One! Insane

You'd think that GW would be pricing themselves out of the market, but the prices keep going up! That means somebody out there is actually buying this stuff for those price points! As you say, nightbringer, insane.
