Deamon Prince Nurgle, Flight, Sword of Might, Scaled Skin, Soul Feeder, Flaming Breath, Chaos Armour, Level 4 Lore of Death, Charmed Shield.
Chaos Lord Helm of Many Eyes, Mark of Nurgle, Ogre Blade, Talisman of Endurance, Shield, Chaos Dragon
Daemon Prince Deamonic Flight, Sword of Swift Slaying, Mark of Khorne,
Throgg
20 x Trolls
5 x Warhounds (Vanguard) 5 x Warhounds (Vanguard)
Chimera Regen, Flaming Breath
Chimera Regen, Flaming Breath
Total: 3000pts
Battle plan: Fly out all 5 monsters together. Combo charging will be key to victory. Also heavy shooting armies doesn't scare me. They will have too many targets to kill them all. I figure by turn 2 I should be locked into combat. Then Throgg and boyz come barreling in and smash any other hordes or lingering units. This list is designed to force the combat phase right away. The only other idea I have been kicking around is replacing Throgg with Wulfrik and placing him in a horde of 30-40 Khorne Marauders with Great Weapons. Have them ambush from the rear or flank of the enemies deployment and really put the pressure on.

Travis, welcome to the forum.
Tough list. I think you should stick with Throgg and his Trolls rather than Wulfrik. Based on my experience with Throgg in tournaments (I own a full Troll army myself), it's actually better to have two units of 10, with one being led by Throgg.
10 Trolls will be nearly as good as 20, and you'll now have TWO big, scary units of Trolls rather than one. The Trolls will also be much more difficult to avoid by dividing them into two units.
You'll have an additional deployment unit as well.

Thanks for the reply. I just might playtest two units. Makes sense and there's no reason they still can't combo charge if I want more attacks. My gaming group has decided to continue on with 8th edition so I think this forum will be my new home for awhile. Warseer seems to be all AoS. Even though they all say they don't like it, all topics and conversation is about AoS. Nothing talking about 8th edition at all. Thank you for providing this forum. I will let my gaming group (12 players) know about it.

Dad-gum, that's a hard list! I'd just hope not to see a highly mobile force with flaming attacks (HE), but then you seem to have that covered too with all of your fliers! You'll be vulnerable to magic. Don't let that Purple Sun move down your lines or Fiery Convocation get off on your Trolls (yet another reason to split them up into two groups)! I'd probably let the Chimeras stay back and protect the flanks of your Trolls. No wizard is going to want to get that close to their breath weapon attacks just to MAYBE get PS off! That seems just about it though! I wouldn't worry about shooting either. Like you say, too many targets.

My vote is for this list over the Wulfrik list. It looks very tough. If you get some play testing in post highlights/results if you can. I would be interested to see how it does.
