That's great if it's giant sized - my DnD collection is a little short of monsters of that size. I'm trying to decide if I should rebase my Chaos Giant, Chimera, and Manticore so as to be more compatible with Dnd, as that and Mordheim (and adventures in Middle Earth are coming soon - as soon as I find time to paint the minis - I bought some contrast paints to help here) are pretty much all I play these days.

Hey guys, when did the witch hunter get taken down? Was it part of the recent last chance to buy and I totally overlooked him? Unfortunately yes. He got the boot along with the finecast warrior priests. What a ball ache!

I take sigmarines over tombmarines any day and i hate sigmarines. I quite like the mounts, shields, armour and weapons from the new undead. If they'd given them normal skeletal bodies and heads, I'd be all over this release, working it into my Undead army. As it is, I will possibly eventually pick up the odd bit here and there to heavily convert into something better looking. Sigmarines have no redeeming features.

Well guess we are different as I think these are on the list of worst sculpt ever created by GW, hate the mount, hate the armor, hate the heads. Whats up with the ugly balls inside the skeletons? Old tomb king is so pretty but this is so bad. At least sigmarines I can take the body and add chaos heads.

It's ghostly/magical skulls within the mounts' skeletons. It's the same aesthetic they had for Morghasts and Mortarchs in the End Times. I can't say I love the look either, but it's okay - and probably necessary from a modelling point of view or you'd have to glue together hundreds of tiny bones as separate components to built your models.

Looks a bit like Skeletor has got a bone horse to ride.
Not really enjoying this new Undead aesthetic. Not a fan of the Morghasts/Mortarchs either.

I’m not an amazing painter.... but it seems like their painting quality isn’t as great one these last ones

I’m not an amazing painter.... but it seems like their painting quality isn’t as great one these last ones When people complain about painting I usually find it as a sign on a terrible sculpt with bad focus point and off proportions(as the painter is usually a multi awarded golden daemon painter) :/ I don’t find anything wrong with the technique on the painting.

I might be the sculpt. I went back and did some more pointed looks. Again, way better than anything I do, but it feels off to me a little. For me, I think it’s the edge highlights on these guys, but not everywhere, of that makes sense. Like the cloak for instance looks great, but the bone I feel like needs to be blended better.
But that’s just me, I’ve nothing on any golden demon winners.

The lil' ghostie on the base with a sword and a D8 would not make my final cut though.

I guess AoS just isn't my thing. I just can't seem to get on-board with any of it. The only real models I've liked are the Wood Elf stuff and a few of the newer Daemons
If I was coming across all of this for the first time I think I would probably be more drawn to Bloodbowl, Necromunda and 40k in descending order

I guess AoS just isn't my thing. I just can't seem to get on-board with any of it. Sadly, this is me as well. I could have sworn that big pile of skeleton garbage had already been released. So much of the recent GW stuff makes me feel nothing. Uninspired. Maybe I'm just done with WH or too stuck in the past...
