pretty excited about this: I have the pikemen, which just about fit in with older GW Empire soldiers. These look to be the same bodies and then different weapon options. And, less than a buck a model is the price point I think is appropriate for a little plastic toy soldier.

That's incredibly tempting for when I finally get around to starting an Empire army. Are these the models that have had previews knocking around for a couple of years? I think another company sculpted them originally, but never released them.
I'd be interested to see them next to current Empire figures, to compare scale.
Damn, and it's £0.60 per model here, excluding the artillery piece/crew. That's amazing!

I might be tempted to get it, if I didn't already have boocoodles of Empire troops already.

I'm going to do it. They're pretty awesome sculpts and they're cheap to boot. I'll have Mordheim/Frostgrave warbands coming out of everywhere by the time this is all over!

That's amazing! my understanding of their provenance: a company called 'pro gloria' did the original sculpt. this was one guy in a basement in Germany and he couldn't get a kickstarter funded (plus had a day job and other interests) so ended up selling them to warlord games. then a few years passed until the pikemen finally came out. Now they added different weapon options, not sure if those were part of the pro gloria deal. they look good though. Scale-wise they are less heroic than typical GW fair. here are some mixed in with 6th ed spearmen, they also look good with the 5th edition. basically all the GW Perry sculpts

Just got a lot of dwarves and Skaven plus English Civil War stuff to get through first. Would be tempted to use my ECW cavalry as DoW cavalry but the horses are tiny next to GW ones!

Cheers Mark!
I saw your lists for the upcoming tournament and remembered that I need to do mine still! Will put something up shortly.
