Did my first assembly batch. Lost Kingdom is at least as good as mierce.  So good! I'm loving that musician. It will be very hard to put them in close to base combat contact with his weaponised horn though. I can almost say those are the best non big hatted chaos dwarfs I have ever seen! |

Did my first assembly batch. Lost Kingdom is at least as good as mierce. Awesome! How would you compare them to the Alternative in terms of sculpt, resin quality, imperfections, size, etc? So I have not painted them yet but this looks like perfect score if it was plastic and not resin (I like plastic glue instead of super glue better). Regarding the sculpts they are better then RA both resin and casting (still love RA). I have almost done 0 clean up so far and only thing I need to fix is the BS pole(all resin pole seems to bend) and a second thing so far, I am sad about is the horn blower. One eye might be a little off(tried cleaning some resin around ear and cheek area) and it was my favorite sculpt  I also think I will be able to rank these up which might imply they are a little smaller then the others (or they are just sculpted better). Will take a photo and compare size later today. The details are really good but also spaced out to be easier to paint. I am really impressed about this part. FW usually goes nuts with details and then they are really hard to paint for a non pro. These I look really forward too paint. They have both super good details and clear enough to be easy to paint. I will come back later when painted about this and see if I still think this. |

I was really curious to see how these matched up against the Alternative, and you've definitely cleared that up. I'm sorry to hear that the horn blower is a bit messed up. Managed to assemble this beauty today: She is definitely a beauty. It will probably take quite a while to paint! I will start with airbrushing primer, metal, wash. Over everything. Then paint the crew. At that point it is at least fieldable But I will do two at the same time. As I want to field two to try them out. I have not glued the crew and the cannon yet so they will be painted before assembling. The cannon is possible to move a little |
