Cool! So it's at least in the realm of possibility. Why, where in the world are you at?

They look great. I still think that light blue colour was a masterstroke - it's so different from other CD armies, and really stands out.
You're making really good progress on this army.

I am working on the full blown fluff for my Wood Elf army project (Swamp Elves). "The Druids of the Direbog".
Short version: These elves live in the swampy areas where the River Ruin meets the sea. All the supporting fluff states that this is an area where the Chaos Dwarf nation is in full swing. Maybe not in total control of the seas, but certainly a force to be reckoned with. It's a neat cross sectional area where - in addition to Chaos Dwarfs - I would expect these elves to fight Ogres, Orcs, Goblins, Hobgoblins, maybe some humans/traders, maybe the peoples of Ind, certainly Skaven are close by, lots of undead on the Plain of Bones, etc. Sure, all true. But I am envisioning their arch nemesis (nemesi?) to be CHAOS DWARFS. Big hats!
Every time I scroll through your army thread I get an itch to play a sea (amphibious?) battle versus the Chaos Dwarfs. Not just battle, a campaign. Elves pop out of the swamp and try to sink a boat. Not many pitched battles, rather - lots of lightning raids and ambushes. Maybe a rebuttal attack with flame throwers and cannons, burning the whole gosh darned forest down. Lightly armored elf fighters versus heavily clad dwarf destroyers. Does warfare get any better?

sedge thank you 😊 I am very happy with the turquoise. It is pretty different from all my other armies and I like painting it. My hobos will be full blown orange as contrast. wilsonthenarc we need to realize this battle 😊

So good!
Almost like Water elementals.
One of the best units of Fireborn that I've seen.

So I just went on vacation to my family summer house in the archipelago. Addicted to my hobby I brought this with me for doing the next two weeks.
