Both the monsters and the elves look great. Fabulous paint job and cool purplish coulours.

Thanks guys! I'm glad you like them!
@ grandmasterwang: Lol! I'm glad you like the Dizzt books as much as I do! I couldn't help but look as my Dark Elves without seeing House Banrae! Now I'm doing to have to make a Gromph, Jarlax and maybe even a Artemis! That would be so cool! I suppose I can call my current sorceress Triel.

The new plastic GW sorceress model is maybe a little too tall and 'hot' for Triel hehe. If I recall she was short and always self conscious about her looks compared to the other drow. Maybe the old Morothai model would be a good fit

Lol, very true! Well, I suppose there are plenty of other, matron mothers that can fit her. It's what I have.

Wow, not much for BLAM!uary so far... Well, I'm not done with the base of this Dark Elf Bolt Thrower, but that's on purpose. I want to do ALL of my DE bases at the same time so that they look alike. It will also be a rather large undertaking, so it'll take me a while to do it. Otherwise, it's finished and playable.

Looks cool. I'd prefer to see the crew modeled on the base with the machine. It's not everyone's jam but y'all know I like my war machines dioramic.

Yeah, honestly, this is one of the first warmachine bases that I've ever modeled (other than 1 Rock Lobba). I kinda like keeping the base small too because the people I play with simply measure to the base instead of the machine. But I did want to mount this one so that I could have an entire army on unified, watery bases.

I like the smooth blue colour on the bolt thrower.

Well, I just got this guy in the mail off eBay. I am actually quite pleased with the paint job! I need to do a little work on his skin, etc., but other than that, I think I like him! I also got these guys as well, to give me a few more core choices!

I started doing a lot of Green Stuff work last night. This is my progress on the Dark Pegasus that I'm trying to model. I've drilled a hole in it's back for the magnet, and I'll attempt to put a magnet on my Supreme Sorceress and Dreadlord that come with the Black Dragon kit. I'll swap them out with the Black Dragon that way. Be kind. I'm not very good at using Green Stuff!

It took me a LONG time and I went VERY slowly, but I started with a small standard drill that I use for pinning. Then I used a small round diameter file to hallow the hole out. As I widened it, I kept trying to fit the magnet to the hole to make sure that it could JUST slip in. I eventually had to move to a flatter file that was convex on one side to widen it slightly more. Finally, I was able to barely fit the magnet in the hole, and it was pushing at the seams of the model, but I knew that it'd be tight enough to hold the magnet on. I then superglued it to the sides of the hole I created. Once that set up for a bit, I then used Green Stuff to fill in the gaps and seams. It was a rather lengthy and laborious process, but hopefully I'll only have to do it once.
I've got to pin and attach the other wing tonight (probably tomorrow since tonight is my anniversary!) and let that set up for another 24 hours before I can move on to the rest.
