I MAY have picked up 40 mk IV marines still on sprue for my (eventual) Thousand Sons Legion army. They were ~50% off on eBay!
Also picked up a copy of Ixion Hale, a Custodes limited release character.
I really need to get my stuff unpacked (new house) so that I can start painting again. It's been a month and I'm beginning to feel guilty about all the time off I've taken from working on my armies.

I rounded off my dwarf artillery with a Grudge Thrower and Flame Cannon from ebay, plus some alternate wheels for the Flame Cannon - I don't think the wooden ones fit with its look. I'd love to get a Goblin Hewer at some point, but they're all far too expensive. I think I need to stay off ebay for a while now... . I fully understand that. I have to periodically give myself a timeout/ban. Oh and I forgot to mention Dwarf Queen Helga is now also winging her way to me! I think you are now obligated to play the grudge of drong! |

These have all turned up - annoyingly the Grudge Thrower is a bit more battered than expected for "complete and in overall good condition" - though it partly serves me right for not looking more closely at the pictures. One lever is snapped off (minor but fixable) but more problematic the chains are gone from the chain winch, which won't be easy to resolve. The whole model is also really badly assembled/glued, so needs to be totally rebuilt. |

jewelers chain would fix that I think. Available at walmart, michaels, hobby lobby, or whatever your equivalent in the UK is.
You should be able to just cut a length of chain that is workable, then glue it in place where it's needed.

II think I need to stay off ebay for a while now... The little lies we tell ourselves to get by, eh? And so I don't look a hypocrite: my eBay haul recently included a Chariot (sadly Failcost because I too didn't pay enough attention to the listing), 40 25mm squares, a Mordheim Shaman, Redmaw, and another box of Gors. I'd say it's the last box of them I need, but again, lies we tell ourselves. |

I justified breaking my good behavior today by picking up the wood elf and demons of chaos armybooks... because these are books, not minis... right?

Don't think I should (but will) buy anything this month. My parents just dropped by and wanted to get rid of a big box in their basement... It included half of my GW gateway drug that I thought I lost/throw away. It also included a lot of other roleplaying games Like first/early edition lotr and star wars and expansion to heroes quest and ”drakborgen”.  It even includes some old washes I didn't know how to use 25 years back... All well preserved. Old pots were way better.  |

I just read It was picked up by GW under the name Dungeonquest and currently handled by FFG.

My Epic stuff is the only models I’ve ever lost over the years and the few remaining bits I sold off a few years back. I’ve always regretted it and it’s probably why Ihorde the rest of my stuff. |

Just the other day I went over to my parents house and found a few 25+ year old football practice jerseys that my mother had pulled out and washed to "freshen them up". I was like, "Yeah, Mom, I don't think I'll be using them anytime soon...."
