This is a showcase of my Nurgle Daemon army. I started it in 2013 and fineshed in 2014. It turned out to be a very neat project and at the end I had painted every Nurgle model I own. I wish every project was more like that and less like the 200 unpainted Mordian Iron Guard I have in the closet. Beasts of Nurgle. The FW Plague Toads were a main reason I started this army. Love the models, got 12. Plaguebearers with Herald. Simple headswap for the very popular plastic Lord of Nurgle. Plague Drones. Daemon Princess Manon Lescab. This conversion was a bit more ambitious than it looks as the model had integral cannons in the left arm, tubing and a large tank on the back. I cut all that off and resculpted the detail. Side. Rear. A big pile of Nurglings. Metals and plastics living together happily. This unit was horrible to paint with all the repetitive little detail and huge number of individual models, but as you might have noticed I have a soft spot for hordes of little guys so it was worth it to me. Here is the finished Soulgrinder before paint. Rear view. A rather simple Battle Standard Bearer I made by combining several plastic standards into a single big one and putting it on the plastic Herald. The painted Soulgrinder. Epidemius and the BSB. The complete army. Notice that there are 7 units, 77 plaguebearers* and that the bigger unit is in a 7x7 formation. However, there are only 6 characters as I'm saving a slot for a future plastic Great Unclean One. *plus an extra command group so I can split them in three units if I want to. I had a lot of fun modelling and painting this army and I continue to enjoy playing with it. 8th edition of course. Thanks for looking!

I love the flesh tone you've used. Clearly you are going for a unified tone and the army looks very cohesive.

A true follower of Nurgle you are!
The 7 x 7 plaguebearers are epic.
Honestly your Daemon Prince conversion is really good and the green talons go well with the filthy flesh

Kevin, don't you have a Nurgle Daemon army? I've never seen it before. Can you post pictures sometime?

Wow! That army is one of the most disgusting things I've seen on the table top! And that's a good thing! Lol!

I love this army. I'm going to have to borrow from it when I create my own Nurgle Daemon army.
