Mierce have a 50% off everything sale running until the 5th June (though they'll probably extend it - they usually do).

To absolutely no-one's surprise, they extended it a week until the 12th June.

While Mierce's standard prices almost make Forge World look cheap, their special offers redeem them for it. Another gem of theirs is their components page that sells bitz from most of their Darklands models, which reminds me of the old GW site when they used to enjoy making fun bitz packs for you to make scenery with and kitbash models. mierce-miniatures.com/index.php?act=cat&cre=cmp-dkl&sou=catI'm seriously contemplating buying some of Mierce's Dyndraig heads and horns to stick onto those new GW Kroxigor...

I like some of those blight gor sculpts, others not so much.
Fundamentally I’m disappointed in this release because a Pestigor proxy is not filling one of the many gaps in my needs for God themed Beastmen.
I’m lucky enough to have a painted regt of classic metal Pestigor already.
Now Nurglesque gors, ungor or minotaurs would tempt me to do a Nurgle beasts army using them and the Pestigor.
And I’m actively looking for Slaangor and Khornegor appropriate models. I had some classic metal Khornegor but sold them as I don’t like the style. AoS slaangor Fiendbloods are earmarked as slaaneshi minotaurs. AoS Tzaangor with great weps cover Tzeentch marked bestigor.

I have metal versions of the models these are based off (the non nurgle versions) and they are imo exceptional sculpts. However I should point out that the feet are wide apart on most and they are very large so about half way between gor and minotaur size meaning 25mm squares are too small. Im thinking of putting them on cavalry bases to count as 2 guys spread amongst Bestigor units as unit fillers.

Hmmm... I ordered a few already, with the intent of bulking out my Bestigor unit with some more diverse models. I might see if they can perch on some overhanging slate to try to squeeze them onto 25mm bases.

I might see if they can perch on some overhanging slate to try to squeeze them onto 25mm bases. They would be great for bulking out Bestigor as the sculpts are excellent. Mierce official base size for them is 40mm. I've attached a couple of pictures for reference so you can see just how large these badboys are. The weapon alone is bigger than a GW Bestigor. First picture isn't on a base and you can see even without it makes the GW staunch Bestigor look pretty weedy. Second picture I've got it propped up across the Gor/Bestigor bases so you can see how it would look at proper height. I'm personally now leaning to putting them on chariot bases with each Mierce 'super' Bestigor counting as 2 normal Bestigor spread throughout GW sculpts as I think they have the size and gravitas to pull it off. Also pondered using them as Great Weapon Centigor. The one part painted wip Mierce Bestigor has less splayed feet than some of the other sculpts.

Mierce have a 50% off everything offer (again) until Monday, only if you pay via PayPal. Here's their reasoning:
Pay via PayPal only!
We've decided to only accept payment via PayPal for this promotion. Here's how to do it on our webstore:
1: Make the order on our webstore as normal (selecting trackable delivery as your postage option), and click the "cash" option. Take a screenshot of this order and its number - it won't appear on your My Orders page yet.
2: Pay the exact amount listed on the order to our PayPal account, roblane@the-lanes.me.uk. Make sure that you elect to pay the fees - i.e., you must pay us as if we were a friend.
3: Let us know you have done so over e-mail to orders@mierce-miniatures.com, quoting your order number, and we'll check our PayPal account for the payment and then activate your order.
We realise this isn't an ideal method but it will get you sorted until we do implement it properly on the webstore. We are moving to a Stripe-based system, which now accepts PayPal, in the near future.
This does sound mildly suspicious, particularly given the Rob Lane / Mierce / Maelstrom Games situation from a decade or so ago.

Yeah, me too. And sending a PayPal "friend" payment is usually a way of avoiding paying tax. I understand payment protocol can be tricky at times, but that's true for all businesses. You don't see or hear of many other legit business doing this.

You don't see or hear of many other legit business doing this. You don't see or hear of legit businesses doing it because it's against TOS for a company to ask for it to be paid that way since there's no protections for either side with F&F and Mierce is risking a violation for doing so. US companies can't even set up to receive F&F because of it.

Mierce have started selling their monster components separately. They've always kind of done it with some, but not all of them, or organised properly. They currently have the components (and monsters as a whole) on a half price sale: mierce-miniatures.com/index.php?act=cat&cre=cmp-mbsThey intend to upload scale photos for these all in time. As a regular converter, I appreciate the effort they're putting into this.

Mierce have pretty much everything on a 50% off sale until Monday 25th. Their new "grey wulf resin" (3D printed models) are at just 25% off, which they say is the max they'll discount them by in the future as well.
It might be easier to post when Mierce don't have a sale running.
