Hi all, it has been a long time since I posted anything. Anyway, for the Dark Tidings Campaign that I am a part of I have started a new project. Our next meeting is in early November and this years special event allows every player (regardless of army alignment, so even me as a dwarf player) a 1,000 point demonic pact per the rules in the storm of magic book. More info on this campaign exists on this forum in other areas. I never figured I would do a daemons army but I always found Tzeentch to be the most fascinating. So the decision of which god(s) to base my army on was easy. I picked up two of the start collecting Daemons of Tzeentch boxes intended for Age of Sigmar. These will actually make well more than 1,000 points but for right now I will only be building and painting what will get me to 1,000 points. Exact army composition is still to be determined. And last night I finished building the first seven Pink Horrors. This kit is really awesome. The minis feel so dynamic with body and arm placement. Very nice and heavily detailed sculpts! Now onto building some more pink horrors.

Those demons are sweet, I almost picked up a disc parrot today just to paint it 😊

I finished building the next group of pink horrors, an additional seven. Here is a photo of them and the second of the unit at 14 strong. Next onto yet more pink horrors. Six left to build which will include full command. I have figured out my 1,000 point list so know exactly what I will be building and painting for November. I won’t be sharing the list right now though as many of my adversaries in the campaign are on here and lists are not required to be shared. I don’t want to offer up the info and be at a disadvantage.

Those Pink Horrors are a bloody nightmare to rank up. I would put some of them onto bigger bases, almost like fillers, just to make them rank more easily. Plus it fills out your numbers for "free"

Here go the last six including command to complete the unit. Next a herald on foot and six of the little blue horrors. The blue horrors come from the burning chariot kit but I will be building them on foot to bulk up the pink horror numbers a bit more, unit filler if you will.

Plus it fills out your numbers for "free" After assembling the first few but before gluing them to bases I was nervous about getting them to rank up as you say. It was a little difficult but certainly not impossible. But to make it even easier to rank up I have decided to mix some blue horrors into the unit. Since the blue horrors are much smaller it should help with raking up. And I’m going to do some of this. The empty space on this double base will have a blue horror once assembled.

Awesome models, must be fun to paint. Are 25x25mm base standard for them?

I finished building these little guys which will be incorporated into the pink horror unit. Kind of like unit filler I guess. And also finished building this herald from the burning chariot kit. There are so many options from this herald kit you could easily build three unique minis from it. Very cool. I’m going to take a break from building for a while and get these guys primed and start painting.

Cool feathers and I like the more subdued look.
