I finished painting the first batch which was 13 horrors. Plus the test mini makes 14 total for a decent legal unit. I am really happy with how they turned out. So as you may realize if you read my first post I am way behind. I’m supposed to have 1,000 points painted by Nov. 2. I’ve never been a fast painter so knew I would struggle to meet that but figured I would try anyway. I’ve actually been doing really well at making sure I spend time painting on a regular basis but that still wasn’t enough. Anyway I picked up the plastic daemon prince kit because that is a lot of points for just one model. I have a little over a week but luckily no plans for the weekend and I am actually off work a few days next week as well. So with the daemon prince, a herald and a few more horrors it will be a decent force somewhere close to 1,000 points.

One more photo of the unit from the back, for some reason I was having trouble getting it into the prior post.

I don't usually like Flamers, but they look really cool in your dark, muted colours. Screamers are great, so I'm looking forward to what you do with those and the Slaaneshis.

good looking flamers! the almost monochrome works well. you are going to keep that up for the other gods? I will use the same paint style for the other gods, but likely with different main colors. Right now I have in my head slaanesh will use purple as the main color, but I will need to paint a test mini to confirm that.

Great looking Tzeentch models. I like the darker theme.

I’ve always liked the screamers both models and fluff. Great to see them in your force and they are looking good.

I finished building a flaming chariot of tzeentch and before painting it I decided to build one more model which I am very excited about. It is a classic lord of change which I will likely use as a tzeentch daemon prince due to the smaller comparative size. A shout out to TheREALricksalamone who gave me a great deal on this mini as I would never have bought it for myself at the online ebay, etc. prices. It was still NIB and upon reading the back of the package I actually felt bad about opening it up as it felt like history. However I convinced myself that as a painter/gamer NIB models don’t do me much good. With the original price tag still on it and everything. Back of the package with some cool fluff, a warning about the product containing lead (they don’t make them like this anymore) and a copyright date of 1988. The copyright date is what really got me excited and got me feeling like I was walking in history. 30 years old!
