I've just gone crazy in the past few weeks. After a year off from playing or painting, or really doing anything Warhammer related (except for Total War: Warhammer, of course!), I've made 3 key investment for 3 of the armies we have at home:
Thorgrim, Belegar, and the cheapest unit of 8 Miners I ever saw on ebay for the Dwarfs. Settra The Imperishable & a unit of Necro Knights for the Tomb Kings
and then... I'm making some changes to the house Wood Elf Army, with the mrs. permission, of course!
Out go the Elves (out of the lists, not being sold) and in come the trees. That's right: I'm working on an all-tree army for 1500 points, and maybe 1-2 Elf units for 2000pts.
You don't need to say it: I know it might not be a tournament winning army, but it'll be a fun, good looking army. Here's a tentative list:
Durthu
Drycha Branchwraith
32x Dryads 20x Eternal Guard (or 20x Glade Guard, we'll see)
5x Treekin
2x Treemen
I might drop Drycha, and get in a BSB instead but that'll be the core of the army.
What say you? Lots of victories incoming, or brace yourself for one-sided defeats? Only time will tell!

I think that you'll need those 20 Elves to be Glade Guard so that you have some form of ranged attack. Fire will be your enemy. Drycha can do wonders and I'd lean more heavily toward dropping the Branchwraith and maybe a few troops in order to pick up a simple BSB (he doesn't need to have very many add-ons since you probably won't want him in close combat, unless absolutely necessary).

Great Tomb Kings and Dwarf additions.

Depending on how you feel about unofficial rules, then getting some of the AoS Sylvaneth Kurnous Hunters with bows would add a forest-spirit ranged aspect to the army.

I would up the treekins numbers and pop a bsb in the list. I'd 8 is not that high. If I would start my collection over then I would buy kurnous hunters and use them as treekins. Perfect size and cheaper.
I have not played dryads that much yet but from what I have heard they are better used as msu. So maybe split into 3 groups of 10?
Can you fit eagles? Or are they against the feeling? I always want more eagles... To divert/redirect for a turn or two.
Do you need two anvils? Both eternal and treekins? I am really happy with my archers and tree lists.

I made a possible list for 2k points the other day:
1x Treeman Ancient (lvl 4)
1x Drycha 1x Glade Captain BSB
30x Dryads 10x Glade Guard
6x Treekin
2x Treemen
I could split the Dryads into two groups of 15 potentially?

I'd leave the Dryads as a unit of 30. Deploy them in Horde Formations (3 ranks of 10), so that they dish out 40 Attacks.
