Cheers for linking that. It's good to see he thinks there's a chance that one day - even if it's years down the line, GW might return to wargaming in the WFB world. I've got a lot of time for Andy Chambers, because Battlefleet Gothic was a damn fine game - even with its flaws.

Interesting interview, I don't think GW will ever return to Warhammer due to the same thing that made them cancel Warhammer, rank stupidity as in the words of Chambers. There's no one in GW with the culture to bring out a setting inspired by Moorcock and History.

I gotta tell you tho: it feels good to hear that coming from someone like him. “Such a monumentally daft decision cannot stand”. And totally true that aoS could have lived in the realm of chaos. It would have been the perfect continuation.

It's interesting (but not surprising) to see the contradiction of tone on AOS vs Warhammer in the interviews between those who still work/freelance for GW and those who don't anymore.
