Hi all!
Started reading some novels again after some time. I picked up the Masters of Stone and Steel collection with 4 stories written by Gav Thorpe on Dwarfs. So far, so good! I just finished the Fall of Dragonback which was good though many grudges were added after reading the story.
Do you still read any of the novels? Have you read any?
And lastly, I was looking for a wood elf novel and a Tomb king novel.. but I'm not too familiar. Anyone have any reco's?

There's some thoughts on books from various people in this old thread: eefl.freeforums.net/thread/985/black-library-author-tweeting-salesTomb Kings books - off the top of my head, there aren't any. The best you'll get is The Serpent Queen (Gotrek & Felix book) that does feature them and Vampires heavily. There's the Rise of Nagash series, but that's when Nehekarans were still alive. Wood Elf books - there's an Orion trilogy by Darius Hinks. I read the first, and wasn't impressed so never bothered with the other two. I'd recommend "Guardians of the Forest" by Graham McNeill - it's about a Bretonnian knight who ventures into Athel Loren, and has Beastmen involved too. It's in the "Elves" trilogy along with a couple of High/Dark Elf focused books.

You beat me to it! Completely agree with sedge. I struggled with the Orion series and didn’t finish it. I will have to go back to the Elves trilogy book and look at the one with the Bret knight as the other two in the book about high/dark elves were terrible and I never made it to that one because of it.

The Knight one isn't as bad, but it's still not the best. It's basically a fish out of water story where the Elves are massive dicks(because Elves) but the Knight is also kind of a dick because Bretonnian noble. But they become friends because Beastmen and prophecies. There's also some whibbly-wobbly timey-whimey stuff in it. By all means read it(I've read it twice, so...), but don't expect some of their best work going into it. Edit: Also, for being part of the Elves trilogy, it sure is heavy on knightly PoV.
