So can we at least agree upon this?... - Some people feel that supporting attacks do not benefit from PF (no problem, to each their own)
- Some people feel that supporting attacks do benefit from PF (no problem, to each their own)
- It is okay to agree to disagree
- It is best to discuss it with your own gaming group / friends
Peace and harmony are returned to the universe and we all recognize that at the end of the day it is only a game.

I just treat all Saurus Warrior attacks as having Predatory Fighter whether they’re supporting or not - no need to separate the dice and roll separately for those in front and those in supporting ranks then, thus keeping the game running in a smooth and streamlined fashion.
Hope that helps.

KevinC maybe you should lock this thread so no one opens it without any argument 3-6 months down the road. To much trolling in this thread.

KevinC maybe you should lock this thread so no one opens it without any argument 3-6 months down the road. To much trolling in this thread. Yeah, while this site is a great source of material and it can sometimes correct minor mistakes and interpretations something like this which I believe to be an over sight and should have been followed up by a FAQ from GW isn't really going to have much sway in local club gaming. When I used to play tournaments I wanted to see rule book pages or official documentation I could verify, not because I'm an arse hat but so I could refer this to my next opponent that questioned a rule, no offence but I can hardly say go to EEFL and read what "XYZ" player has to say. I need to believe the interpretation myself to actually put forward a valid case. I also think the topic should be locked. Gets a bit boring stirring up the same thing time and time again. Greg

Tried emailing GW and asking them the question?
Better still, maybe the AoS version of the rule may throw up the rule's intention...

Tried emailing GW and asking them the question? Apparently people have emailed GW for clarification on the PF rule. For the record, I have not personally seen GW's reply but I did come across this post in another thread : In the interest of fairness, here is the counter-reply from the other side of the argument: So I guess make of it what you will. Personally, I'd like to see precisely what GW replied. Do you still have that screenshot avatarofbugman ?

I've emailed them asking them if they will comment on rules they've made.
If they reply saying they don't support the old rules, yadda yadda... I'll ask them if it's OK to set up our own board/community for FAQs, and if they will relieve themselves as the owners of WFB.
See if it "helps". I like poking the bear.

I mean the best you will manage in reality is emailing/messaging the author of the army book. It is fairly unlikely to work, I think getting a reply is an exception rather than a rule. They are a fairy decent bunch though, you never know.
I doubt GW themselves will reply in any worthwhile capacity

After 4 years, GW is not going to add anything new. That said, the additional three pages we managed to add to a half-year old thread did not contain anything new either...

You might have checked with the owners of the site. Poking that particular bear could get this site shut down...
