So have some more points spend in the next game.
Not sure if shadow mage is better then the ancient. To spice up the spears.

I actually like it. Your Scouts and Waywatchers will have to do a good bit more offensive maneuvering instead of sitting back and just shooting and trying to weaken numbers before they get to you, since you don't have to numbers to take down opponents fully. BUT they might be able to weaken units up enough for your Warhawks to get through or crush opponents on their charge. The Eternal Guard, Rangers and Treeman will all need to stay in fairly close proximity to support one another, otherwise, they'll be taken down rather quickly (except for maybe the Ancient, but he'll have a hard time doing enough wounds by himself).
Anyway, it should be an entertaining game and a nice change from your last match!

The rangers will definitely appreciate any toughness buffs thrown their way.

The rangers will definitely appreciate any toughness buffs thrown their way. Well, the problem is that its the only spell I like and of course the lore attribute on a 6W monster. And yes everything is amazing with Thrones if it sticks. Lord of shadows looks so appealing with all its hexes.

A Shadowdancer with the Lv1 caster upgrade can be fun at times. Not many people expect that. It makes her expensive, but she can really dish out some pain. Especially if she casts Miasma!

Those hexes also draw a light of ire from opponents. Throwing 1 or 2 dice at a spell will almost certainly draw out an equal number (or more) of dispel dice, making life easier later in the phase. Just watch out for cannons, magic missiles, and anything else designed to ruin a single models day.

Army looks good.
More combat threat than many wood Elves armies that size.

Army looks good. More combat threat than many wood Elves armies that size. My thoughts were to do something different. I still pack 29 shots.
