Gents,
I have a couple of queries, mainly along the same lines.
1) Book of Ashur - adds +1 to casting and dispel attempts. Does the +1 to casting attempts mean that the opponent has to get one higher to dispel.
So if my level 4 mage casts miasma (casting value of 5+). So say he rolls a 3 on a D6 (as he needs to roll a natural 3 or over to cast a spell), he then adds his mage level (4), so the total is now 7. He then adds +1 from the book (for a total of 8). Does the enemy mage need to roll a 7 or 8?
The reason for my query is that when I was using my Beasts, one of the items added +1 to the casting value of a spell but didn't count towards the dispel total.
2) Hierotitans - Spirit Conduit - any friendly Nehekharan undead wizard adds D3 to the result of each spell he attempts to cast (roll for the bonus each time)
This is the same query as above. Does the result of the D3 added to the spell cast count towards the dispel value?
3) Blessing of the Ancients - Wood elf special rule - models with this rule and in a forest adds +1 to all attempts to cast spells.
Again the same query
In all cases I suspect they do count towards the total value you need to dispel but I wanted to check.
My final query relates to a Tomb King magic item:
4) Neferra's scroll of Mighty Incantations - One use - the wizard adds a number of bonus dice equal to his magic level. The bonus dice don't count as power dice (but he can still miscast from them).
The query is the same as above.
What is meant by the bonus dice don't count as power dice? That they don't count towards the dispel total? Any help on this one would be appreciated.
Cheers
