If you manage to beat witches in combat, they will lose their frenzy. If the hag is in the unit and has witchbrew, will it give it back to them?
Following on from this, if they lost frenzy and the bound spell was cast from the cauldron, would this just give them basic frenzy (+1 attack) as they had lost their original frenzy?
Again following on from this, after regaining frenzy from the bound spell, would a hag with witchbrew in the unit, then give them a second frenzy attack or would the witch brew have been negated by the original loss of frenzy?
It’s never come up but for some reason the question popped into my head.

This is an interesting one, so many layers!
If the Hag is in the unit with Witchbrew, they don't get Frenzy back. Witchbrew gives the Hag and her unit Frenzy, the Witch Elves already have Frenzy, and multiples of the same rule have no effect. So the Witches and Hag both have Frenzy, then when they lose combat they both lose Frenzy.
If the bound spell is cast on that unit then the unit would just gain normal Frenzy, because they lost the Frenzy rule in the first place, the BRB is clear that the rules is lost from the unit, not just that the effects stop applying.
The Witchbrew would be negated. The BRB says "... the Frenzy (together with all associated rules) is lost." The Witchbrew bonus attack is an associated rule based on the Frenzy that the brew provides.

Basically, when you lose Frenzy from one particular source, then that Frenzy is gone. You can regain the Frenzy special rule from another source, but that does not revive the original Frenzy.
Note that if a Hag with Witchbrew has already joined the Witch Elves at the time of defeat, they are simultaneously subject to both their own and the Witchbrew Frenzy. Thus, if they are beaten, both forms of Frenzy are lost. If she joins later, then the Witch Elves would regain Frenzy (without the additional Attack).
The same applies to the Fury of Khaine (which is not cumulative with Witchbrew), with the difference (barring an FAQ) that you can lose and regain this form of Frenzy multiple times.
Edit: crownprinceimrik beat me to it.
