It's not a magic item per say but I think the Blood of Hashut should be included here as it's a unique to LOA option. One of the few things that can make a heavily armored Doombull, Vampire Lord or Daemon Prince crap their pants so is noteworthy for this reason. I'm glad it's an option for the mighty prophet. A properly kitted out Daemon Princes shouldn't be worried about the Blood of Hashut. Unfortunately, the Blood of Hashut is a Flaming Attack and a DP usually runs with a Dragon Bane Gem to protect against flaming war machines and Searing Doom. I have only inflicted it on myself What do you mean by inflicted it on yourself? On a roll of 2+ the attack works, and on a roll of 1 the Blood of Hashut is simply wasted. It doesn't hit the bearer though.

strutsagget I'm not a fan of Naphtha Bombs. 6" range for a model that only has movement 3 is pretty bad. Plus, even if it does go off, what is D3 S3 hits worth? And then to top it off, there is a chance that you auto-wound yourself. A waste of 15 points in my book.

I just had a game where I took the Naptha bombs on my Prophet. 2000 point game see army list in Army list section. Pure shooting list. Ended up destroying a Dark Elf army completely. My reasoning for taking them was to give the core unit of 29 Fireglaives stand and shoot without the long range -1 penalty. S & S is at the maximum range of the shortest shooting unit and Naptha bombs count for this. It's imo worth it in this type of setup/unit only.
