Excellent!
I remember that giant from when I first got into Warhammer.
Welcome and I hope you enjoy playing with your nicely painted Orcs and Goblins.

Love it! That is my favorite/go to giant model. The gobbos are looking sharp too.

I don’t think anyone dislikes that giant. It’s definitely on my ‘one day’ list. Great job on painting it. We all struggle with time to paint. Real life seems to just get in the way. Join the monthly painting challenge. That’s really helped me keep motivated in my least favourite part of the hobby. Sometimes I fail miserably and don’t finish anything, other months it all seems to come together. The chaps here have also really helped me to up my game (not that the bar was very high to start with).

Looking good! I wouldn't get too het up about waiting to play until you have a fully painted army. You'll find that playing the games themselves are good motivation to get more stuff painted. If you're playing an army regularly, you want to get that next unit done - as a reward for doing well, or so you can bring a new unit along. Basically, get a game in and you'll find your motivation to finish the rest shoots up!

I hope to have my first game in the not to distant future. Just the thought of heading down to selwg for a game has spurred me on a bit. Also GWs announcement has helped, I'm so exited about the return of warhammer, let's hope they don't mess it up!

Your paint job is better than the old GW one. Great job!

Fantastic stuff!
I'm always surprised to see how well those old spearmen hold up in the modern age, wish I'd managed to save more of mine over the years! You've done them justice and the spider banner is ace.

They are looking good. I love the simplicity and mischievous feel of the night goblin plastics.

Love the old giant model! I've got my eye out for one. I thought the recent models weren't that great and looked too troll-like rather than a giant.

Love the old giant model! I've got my eye out for one. I thought the recent models weren't that great and looked too troll-like rather than a giant. I'm lucky enough to own two of the new ones, the one above and the stumpy little one that replaced it. The old one above is by far the best!
