I didn't see a thread for this topic.
How have you arranged player sequence in multi-player games? I might be doing 2on2, 3on3, 2on2on2, and free-for-alls. Did you follow an alternating sequence between players on opposing teams? Or did you randomize player order each turn? Or did you have all units in an alliance take turns simultaneously? What have you tried, liked or didn't like? Is there an official guide to multi-player sequences?
Also did your battle have different dynamics or synergies due to the alliances, or was it more like (say in a 2 on 2) 2 battles that coincidentally occurred in the same place without much interaction? I imagine that would depend on the players involved and how well they immerse themselves in the experience.
If you have done a multi-player free-for-all did you randomize player order each round or was the order fixed, or how did you settle sequence in that game?
Has anyone tried arranging player order by merit or status during the game or last round? --Like most leadership tests passed, most wounds to opponents, or least models alive.
Has anyone tried anything unique in multi-player with non-aligned forces?
Has anyone tried randomizing alliances?
Any other related input would be appreciated.

Ive played triumph & treachery multi player games and loved them. We would randomize turn order (as the rules call out) every turn. Made the game very interesting and fun

one more vote for T&T madness. Second best option is the Battle Royal rules in the BRB.
For 2on2, it can devolve into two parallel games. if you plan on using a bigger table, put the two boards together with their long ends, helps a bit in my experience.

We played that both players did their turns together, moves together, one magic phase together, etc.
