I haven't started bringing my Lizardmen or Empire stuff into this, barely scratched the Ogres, Chaos and Dwarfs... oh yeah, I've got Wood Elves now too! Keep in mind this is only the WHF side of things, I have a comparable portion of 40K, some AoS stuff... and then there is all those smaller side games. I might need professional help or something.
Not all of this is on the painting table at the same time of course. There is stuff on almost all levels of completion pretty much everywhere...

Day 19
Another day of unspectacular progress, this time with some painting. Put some other shades of grey (not 50 though) on two of the terrain pieces. Also, and this might be quite a gamechanger for me: built a wet palette! Thought I might finally try the idea, and start working with it on something easy. The terrain fits perfectly. Will see how it goes on tomorrow.

Day 20
Started building some Spirit Host bases, using AoS Chainrasps. First ready for priming, more to follow.

Day 21 & Day 22
Almost forgot to post another day...
Literally nothing happened yesterday, other than some severe headache in the evening. Today I got halfway through building five more Skeleton Warriors, put sand on the abses of five that got built already, and primed two Hexwraiths and a Spirit Host base.
Hope to get some proper painting done - or I'll fail my weekly goal again...

Hope the headache gets better.
Don't get down if you 'fail' a weekly goal. You are making good progress.

Day 23
While not at all unproductive, the day went other than planned. Instead of painting I "only" got more building done. Five more skeletons - using the ooold GW plastics for body, legs and shield arm, and the current kit for head, sword arm and shield - were built, finishing the unit of 20 sword'n'boarders. Another seven got sand on their base. I hope to get some priming done tomorrow!
Also contemplating the idea of joining one of these "Tale Of Painters"-projects on a German forum. Since I know my fickle motivation, I could go for something with multiple smaller armies, maybe O&G and Dwarfs for a strong theme. O&G bring the masses of cheap models, the Dwarfs the more elite ones, both with distinct painting styles... could work.
Hope the headache gets better. Don't get down if you 'fail' a weekly goal. You are making good progress. Thank you. Yeah, my head has a nasty life of its own.
I consider my goals as more of... guidelines really.

Lol, I do that too. I'll start my hobby time planning to paint some models, see something that needs re-gluing, which reminds me of a few models that I need to put together, and while I'm waiting for the glue to dry, I start reading a scenario, scanning this forum, or making a play list for a future game. It can really work in any number of those combos!

Day 24No proper painting for another day. Not that I was lazy though: - built four boars for Orc Boarboyz
- primed 21 Skeleton Warriors with sword and shield (and full command)
- put sand on the bases of ten Dwarf Warriors
- put magnets under the bases of ten more Dwarf Warriors
- cleaned ten Goblin Spiderriders (got them on 'bay for cheap, primed over moldlines and all dusted though)
Also signed up for an army building project starting November 1st: I will do 1000 points each of O&G and Dwarfs over a course of six months.
More about this soon!

Day 25 & Day 26
Had two incredibly busy days, with no hobby time at all for yesterday. Got 12 Black Orcs out of storage today and put magnets under their bases.
Also: drooling over the new mega-giants...

What size magnets do you use and where do you find them, if you don't mind my asking? I haven't done any base magnetizing but it sounds like a great idea; however, I have found explanations for multiple ways of doing it online, so I was wondering how you go about it. Do you also magnetize movement trays and/or carrying cases?

I haven't done any base magnetizing but it sounds like a great idea; however, I have found explanations for multiple ways of doing it online, so I was wondering how you go about it. Do you also magnetize movement trays and/or carrying cases? I have one "case" - a big tool box - with magnetised inserts, and plan to get more in the future. Some years ago I had put some self-adhesive, pre-cut magnet sheet under bases, but stopped when I realised how poorls they sticked to the bases. Now I glue "normal" rare earth magnets directly under the bases. I buy mine on 'bay, they are not terribly expensive. For small models on 20x20mm bases I use 3x2mm round magnets, bigger models get bigger or multiple magnets (depending on shape). I will do some pictures these days!

Day 27
Primed ten Dwarfs with crowssbows today, put sand on the bases of twelve Black Orcs and magnets under the bases of ten more Dwarfs. Also started converting a musician for some regular Orcs with bows - I'm using the old 6th edition monopose models, and they came without command models.

Day 28
Wow, four weeks of this - and I haven't finished painting a single one model!
Anyway, had a day of migraine and bedtime today. Got some sculpting in, and finished a kitbash for an Orc musician. Given the rest of the day: pretty happy with the turnout!

Get better.
Also, this log needs more pictures. Make it so, please.
