Calling all rules lawyers!!!!
I’ve played it both ways, looking for opinions or rules to discuss please.
When the HODA gets shot, does it benefit from the enchanted arrows used on the glade lord or captain???

What @discoqing and gregwarhamsters say. It is true that Enchanted arrows replace the profile of the Asrai longbow, but they are Shooting attacks, while "The Hail of Doom arrow can be used instead of making a Shooting attack with the bearer’s Asrai longbow" (Wood Elves AB p. 63, Italics mine).

It's not a weapon, was my interpretation. As an enchanted item, it would just use the rules described, (albeit that the item has a caveat that you need to have a bow to fire it).
On the 'Bow of Løren', which is a weapon; It says that you cannot fire enchanted arrows.

This also one time the fluff backs it up. The HODA is a magic arrow. Enchanted arrows are separate magic arrows. It would be like arming a character with trueflight and hagbane and saying each shot gets the benefit of both poison and no modifiers to hit (I know you can’t give them both, just using it as an example)

I agree with this one completely.
