what technical paints? priming white can never hurt.
I am following the Warhammer Paint app instructions (kind of) for Beasts of Nurgle and for the base they said get Astrogranite technical paint and use that.
I'm definitely going to prime it first with some Corax white and then will try that.
Currently I'm back into magnetizing my hordes of troops so that I can move them over into Really Useful Boxes on metal trays. This is a long term project of mine as I really like the idea of storing them by unit so that they are really easy to pack and unpack.

Priming definitely helps the texture paint stick. I've always used black though but would assume white works just as well.

What a freaky bunch of creatures. Totally! Once they all look similar they'll be a great unit to play with. Add some character to my Daemons of Khorne army.

Adding a layer of PVA wood glue also helps with technical paints

Okay, did the basing. Pictures not great, but whatever. Am I supposed to do two coats of this? Or dry brush it? A light wash with Nuln Oil then drybrush with a lighter shade of grey, tidy up round the rims with some Abaddon Black, and they'll look great.

Made any progress with the rot toads?
Thanks for asking.
I've temporarily switched onto a project to magnetize all of my armies that need to be ranked up.
I got pretty fed up with packing and unpacking the troops into the GW official foam cases, so I've bought myself a bunch of really useful boxes, superglue, self-adhesive magnetic strips and a whole bunch of little magnets and have been beavering away on putting everything together.
I did my Lizardmen, my Tomb Kings and Daemons of Chaos (mainly Khorne ). I'm at the tail end of my Ogre Kingdom models and then I'll come back to finishing the bases of the Plague Toads and get going on the Rot Toads.
