It just crossed my mind the other day that I wonder if we could ever pull off an EEFL con? I know we are not all on the same continent. I consider myself still relatively new to the forum, and I live in the middle of nowhere. So, a digital style? Just throwing that out there as an idea. Time zones might also be a hurdle for that approach. What would we do other than just chat? I don't know. Depends on in-person or digital. Get some games in? See some collections in person? It might not be possible or reasonable. But, I would be interested if we had a reasonable plan with a good purpose. I like the casual/anonymous aspect to this forum, but I certainly wouldn't mind meeting other EEFLers somehow. Some reasonable travel is not off-limits to me. But, we all have some sort of digital device that might be useful. An in-person thing may not be feasible for another year or two, but maybe an idea for the future. We seem to be growing. Just throwing this out there....

Great topic.
It would be something if we could either have a live EEFL-con or run a large tournament/event at another convention, such as at Adepticon. I do think we need to do something live with games being played.
A few of us on the forum ran some events as a gaming convention in Rochester, NY. We did a small 10 person tournament, a multiplayer T&T game, and one year we did a massive multiplayer battle event that lasted all weekend.
Ideas? Thoughts? The most important logistics would be a location to maximize participation...
