Hi all, I'm building a Wood Elf army, and I'll populate this thread with my growing war host. But don't hold your breath - I'm not a speed painter... Right now I need some feedback from you guys. I'm making a Shadowdancer out of an Eldar Shadowseer. What to do with the back?
Should I model some long hair? A cloak? Something entirely different? Any ideas? Cheers!

Bow plus quiver? They're practically obligatory for any self-respecting Asrai

I agree, a quiver and bow would be ace. Some form of leafy cloak would work too.

*facepalm* Thanks guys for saying the obvious! First test fitting:
The quiver with bow is a bit large, so not easy to place. Guess I'll give it a couple of more tries.

That looks very good! You need something low-tech on him, so he doesn't scream 40k anymore, the bow is a good pick.

I like the use of that model for the wood elves 👍

I think the large bow and quiver suits the flowy robes.

Awesome! About Shadowdancer: maybe a cloack which pass into leaf/shrub (or vice versa)? Or hawk/bird around it (or on a staff). Also you may add some season stuff on base (autumn/winter - water effect/snow/etc). And some leaf of course. If figure puncher/foliage from stores isn't available - here simple and awesome way to make your own: youtu.be/4uTBtYGJR0U
