Back when the General's Compendium book came out, I wrote a program to automate generating colored in the border princes campaign maps. My gaming group used the border princes rules for several campaigns -- both Fantasy and 40k. I was always proud of how well the maps came out. So I thought I'd show some off. That’s very cool. What did you do it in?

That’s very cool. What did you do it in? I used Perl with the PerlMagick API for interfacing with the ImageMagick library for graphic manipulation. The fantasy map background is obviously a scan of the General's Compendium map. I made the 40K map background in GIMP (or maybe photoshop, it was a while ago).
